WMC menu freezes about 10 sec. after loading, how do I fix issue?

I have looked all over the place for a solution (even on here) and so far have not found a solution that works. My problem is that when I load up Windows Media Center in about 10 seconds or less the menu freezes. It is doing this on my PC and of course on any extenders because they run off of the PC. What steps can I take to fix this issue?

P.S. I know I can just uninstall and reinstall WMC but there isn't really a reason I can think of for it to do freeze randomly like this. So it seems even if I did that and it worked the problem would just come back in a week or so and I'd be where I'm at now.

Well I ended up figuring out (hopefully) a solution that seems to work. I turned WMC off then back on in windows features which fixed the freezing problem then to prevent it from happening again I noticed there was a section for scheduled optimization tasks... well I had that off before so now I turned it on. Maybe because I had Optimization turned off it caused the freezing issue. Now it is on so I am hoping this fixes the issue! I will post back if I have the issue again with no results. Meanwhile, if someone knows a for sure solution still feel free to post it below because I wouldn't mind knowing that the solution will actually work.
