Windows 7: Zoom problem when viewing vertically oriented photos

I've been patient, assuming that one of the many Windows Media Center updates would fix it so when I zoom on a vertically oriented photo it would stop pulling sharply over to the right. It doesn't happen when the photo is horizontally oriented.



I use Nero's photosnap viewer when I'm sitting at the computer but at night I like to review them from bed if I can't sleep and I have the WMC remote control.

I know there are a lot of viewers out there but don't want to spend a lot of money and I've had problems with freeware.... also, I doubt if any work with WMC remote?

Am I spitting in the wind?
