    Possible to run media centre wirelessly?


    I used to run media centre wired and it worked fine. Trying to clean up cables running all over the place Ive tried wirelessly yet its almost to the point that it doesnt work at all as its incredibly slow and takes about a minute to react to controller input.

    Im running a TP-LINKTD-W8930N 300Mbps router.

    Yes it is possible, I do it with a HDHomerun tunner, using an OTA antenna, directly connected to a Dlink 655 Router. With this I am able to get reasonable wireless performance from a Lenovo T500 Laptop with only infrequent hitches.

Is there a good reason why MS don't equip either the media centre or the media player with the ability to play MP4's. I don't see why they can't play them,and surely it would be in MS's best interest if they could play them.
The tv access via media centre appears to be confined to Sky TV which requires a payment.Is this correct.?
Dual screens. One used under Media Centre (listening to radio or viewing a movie, or a recording...) and the other used for previewing photos with the native Windows Picture Viewer... Set the Picture Viewer into Slide Show mode and the Media Centre blacks out... :cry:
