I have lost the Zoom controls

    Win 7 Home Premium SP1

In all the tutes about how to alter certain aspects of WMC, such as Aspect Ratio, there is mention of right clicking on a video and getting a couple of menu options, such as Zoom 1 etc. Even Microsoft has these instructions, saying they apply to my version of Windows (unless the SP1 killed it)

I can remember these in the past, but now no longer have them available.

Can anyone help me get them back, or explain what happened?

    thanks for any help

EDIT: I havwe been looking around. It seems the Zoom was not working very well in Win 7. Did M$oft simply remove it to "fix" it?

maybe re installing wmc will help have a look at this...

HAH! I do not know if they were there before but right at the right hand side of the screen is the dread little blue arrow. I was able to find the zoom controls way across the pages...._after_ I had done a uninstall-reinstall

Anyway, thanks for the reply. I can't tell you if it helped technically, but it got me to pay more attention

Yeah I am glad, too. For all its faults, WMC has one BIG feature: nice BIG stuff on screen, so you can work a few metres away. That's not just controls, but nice huge text and thumbs for selecting Videos and stuff.

All the other players get complaints that the (to me already too small) buttons are too big. Great for work on a PC screen or closer to a big screen, but even with glasses on it can be hard to get other player's controls and loading files to play involves scrolling down through standard Windows DBoxes.
