Windows 7: WMC lockup after restart

I am using a tuner (InfiniTV4 PCIe) installed on a machine attached to my network. I have no issues detecting the tuner or setting WMC up for utilizing it. However, whenever I restart my computer, be it from an update, BSOD, or what have you, WMC will lock up until i rerun the network tuner setup. I am quite desperate for help because I often won't notice that my computer has rebooted and am missing out on several of my recordings. No other computers on the network are having this issue.
