Recorded TV shows sometimes smaller than usual
Using WMC in Windows 7 Home Premium x64, the shows I record (via over-the-air broadcast) are sometimes significantly smaller than usual, meaning that the dimensions of the image are smaller than otherwise. They are still in letterbox proportions, but only take up perhaps 2/3 of my screen horizontally.
Sometimes this occurs only for the duration of a particular segment or commercial break; other times, entire shows are recorded at the smaller dimensions. I have never noticed the dimensions changing mid-segment; they always change at the end of a segment. Perhaps 10% of the total air time that I record shows up at the smaller size, and I have not been able to find a correlation between the smaller size phenomenon and any other phenomenon which could possibly be a contributing factor, such as weather conditions, other programs running concurrently w/ WMC, and so forth.
This is rather annoying and I could use some help straightening it out. All advice is appreciated.
