What media centre extenders work with W8

I am thinking of running Windows 8 when it is released but want to know if this will work with my Linksys media extender?

I have a Linksys DMA200 that works with my Dell Xps 420 tower PC which has two Hauppauge 2200 tuner cards recording standard non premium television content.

I have an xbox 360 but I hear there are some things that don't work (at all or as well) on an xbox when extending the media centre PC functionality. I think it is something to do with recording or playback or the TV guide but I am not sure.

I have a wired connection between the extender and the PC and have seen the offerings of a new product from Ceton (a new generation of a media extender) called the Ceton Extender Ceton Echo | Ceton

So if the Linksys wont work with W8 MCE what are the extender options without having to go out and replace my TV set with a DLNA tv set (which I will not be prepared to do for several years yet).
