Media centre solution for my needs? (currently WMC with MB)

You should probably just skip to the second of the two sections as that's really more of my main question...
Currently to consume visual media (TV and movies) I hit the WMC button on my computer's remote and use WMC on the computer listed in my system specs and the 23" monitor listed, sitting with my head about 2 metres away from the screen. However, I'm looking for a cheapish standalone media centre box, as WMC doesn't quite fit all my needs and despite my system specs it can become very very slow.

What I need the media centre to do:
  • Play videos (avi, mp4, mkv)
  • Automatically checkin to Trakt.tv
  • Automatically checkin to GetGlue
  • Use a nice and fully functional remote control
  • Support storage - I don't care if it's internal or very functioning capability over USB, I just don't want it going anywhere near using the LAN. Currently all my TV and movies are stored on a 500GB USB Seagate FreeAgent Desk, but it would be nice if I could transfer all that into whatever media centre box you suggest
  • YouTube support with a remote would be nice
  • I don't care about BBC iPlayer or ITV Catchup or 4oD etc., I don't watch British TV
  • I'd like it to have native support for MLB.tv like Boxee does
  • Output video over HDMI but also allow audio output through a standard 3.5mm jack as my monitor doesn't have speakers and my surround system only supports 3.5mm input

So, does the perfect media centre exist for me?

Yeah, skip to this:
Oh, also, I was trying to add this to WMC so that I could start MLB.tv from the remote but the website it links to appears to be dead - I would be extremely grateful to anybody who happens to know where I could obtain the installer from as currently I can:
  • Play videos (avi, mp4, mkv)
  • Automatically checkin to Trakt.tv
  • Use a nice remote control
  • Support storage - I don't care if it's internal or very functioning capability over USB, I just don't want it going anywhere near using the LAN. Currently all my TV and movies are stored on a 500GB USB Seagate FreeAgent Desk, but it would be nice if I could transfer all that into whatever media centre box you suggest
  • I don't care about BBC iPlayer or ITV Catchup or 4oD etc., I don't watch British TV
  • I'd like it to have native support for MLB.tv like Boxee does (using the ancient and unsupported boxee desktop program)
  • Output video over HDMI but also allow audio output through a standard 3.5mm jack as my monitor doesn't have speakers and my surround system only supports 3.5mm input
and if I could get MLB.tv support withing WMC I wouldn't really need a new media centre, hence suggesting to you that you may want to skip to this part.

So yeah, I currently use this for watching TV and movies, which is great in that it works perfectly with the remote and automatically tells Trakt when I'm watching TV (and automatically adds new movies I have to my Trakt collection but for some strange reason doesn't tell Trakt when I'm watching it), but it doesn't support YouTube, doesn't support MLB.tv, and doesn't have GetGlue checkin support last time I checked.
