When playing video using Windows Media Player 12 on my HP Pavilion g6 Laptop with the ac adapter plugged in any video type recognized by the player and then played is presented with the video zoomed in and with terrible resolution.
When I run the player using the laptop on battery the videos play just fine. This problem can be altered ( good video/zoomed in video) while the adapter is unplugged and then plugged back in using ac. I noticed on Windows 7 forums that another person is expriencing this problem too. It's gotta be Media Player 12 issues. I wouldn't think codecs or video card since video is ok on battery.
I can play video just fine using other players such as ( KMPlayer player or Quick Time or even Pinnacle Studio 15) while also plugging and unplugging the ac adapter scenario and this does not effect the quality of playback for those players.
I like using the create dvd funtion of MP12, it's easy to use and the results are great for sharing pictures and video shows for friends to play on TV viewing using their DVD player at home. I checked the power managment on the laptop and even duplicated the battery performance setting for ac with no possitive effect.
Whatcha think? and Thanks for trying..
