    Win 7 home premium SP1 missing a piece of program in movie maker?


    Hello All,
    Movie Maker is not playing videos that have been added from my video folder. Sound is present, but, I have a black screen… no problem in Win Media Center and player, videos/sound OK…WLM OK.

    On Movie Maker/properties/details… the file size is 124 KB?
    Have looked high and low for the culprit without success.

    Noticed movie maker was not working about 4 months ago upon purchasing this laptop, is was not a big deal then… a few days ago I downloaded “ViedoPad Editor” since purchasing a camera for recording videos.

    Comments/suggestions appreciated.

    Hi Michaelst,
    Updated the Codecs, unfortunately the problem was not corrected.
    I’m checking this tread as fixed and forgetting about Movie Maker.
