EPG Guide has expired - How does this get renewed? Is there alternate?

Media Center Guide download has not updated the program guide. I noticed that the Guide End Date is shown as 01/01/2013 09:45:00 (in Aout Guide Listings). I have been through the Set Up TV Signal steps afresh and selected the guide for my postcode and "Virgin TV Lang BBC East (W)ITV Lndn Anglia/Centra" How and when is the guide likely to be renewed. Is there anyone who ideally know how to resolve this issue or offer an alternative suggestion on how to get a suitable guide that I can use for Virgin TV Channels?

I have exactly the same problem here, I thought it was my setup so I deleted the guide data & ran set-up again but the problem persists. It seems that the guide data simply isn't being delivered. I am using it for Freesat channels in the Meridian/BBC South region. If anyone can help (or knows who to contact at Microsoft) I would be grateful.

Sounds like a server error, may just be a new year glitch ?

Hi DiqueE and smartpants welcome to 7F! :)

Have you seen this? thegreenbutton.tv / forums / Guide Updates - Download Issues

It seems this has been going on at least since the beginning of December and these members are just as perplexed.
I looked around but didn't see any official reports about your concerns.

As for an alternative I could only find this: AltEPG - Home Page but it may not be compatible with what you have.
Search for alternatives to EPG guide and you will find it depends on your system, I couldn't find one program that works with different systems.
