I have no clue about the xbox, but have you considered a repair install? Granted...... thats a last resort but an option nonetheless. Someone else here may have a more relevant fix so you may want to hold off on that for a bit. It looks like you've tried most of the other things I would have suggested already.

How long has this been happening? Have you tried a system restore to a point to before it started?

This has been happening for a VERY long time now and I'm getting annoyed by it unfortunately... I can't do a system restore because there are none... And yea a repair install isn't an option ever. .. So if anyone has any other ideas please respond thanks.

I first tried using the WMP to stream movies into my PS3 and it was nothing but hassle after hassle, with it either burping, farting or indexing it never worked efficiently and became frustrating very quickly.
There are other media servers out there that should work with the xbox just like the ps3.
I just googled "XBox Media Server" and came up with options that should work much better than that WMP or WMC.
I don't use the WMP at all but use the PS3 Media Server to stream into my PS3 and then into the TV and it works very well.

Here is a couple of examples of the google search
How to Stream Media to an Xbox using PS3 Media Server
Plex - A Complete Media Solution

You can research further but IMO you should dump the WMC and WMP and use some other more reliable media server and save yourself all the hassles.

I know I can do this but the whole reason I switched to WMC was because of this lol. The fact there is no gui and it is more difficult to navigate... Anyways nice try but still doesn't solve my problem... Any other solutions that don't require me reinstalling my entire OS or using another program? Maybe a regedit I don't know about idk???
