Windows 7 media center how to associate (tag) video file with pictures

Hi everyone,
I have created a video library using the Windows 7 media center. I know that when in the same folder with a video (e.g. sample.avi) there is a picture file with exactly the same name (e.g. sample.jpeg), the program associates the picture with the video file. Thus, when I browse the library to select which file to play each video file is tagged with its associated picture. However, my media center somehow malfunctioning and a lot of my video files are not tagged with the corresponding jpeg in the folder. How can I solve this problem?
Kind regards
Anti
