Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 HELP !

So I went ahead and purchased a Hauppanuge 2250 Media Center Kit and am having an issue setting up the channels. After having it recognized my remote (which it couldnt) I had to enter in the digits 1 by 1 till it learned my STB remote. Then when it asks to have me change the channel with the remote it came with nothing happens, I could enter in the channel but the "OK/Enter" button doesnt work to switch to the next channel. Doesnt seem like the set top box is recognizing it at all.

Anyway I've been going back and forth with this since this morning used up my tired day - So if anyone has any idea what could be the problem can you send help my way? Thanks in advance

I just read a review on Newegg that stated that the drivers on the cd are outdated and you need to go to the Hauppage site and download the Win TV7 1.2 or later drivers this includes everything required to make the remote and Ir blaster work properly in media center. He goes on to state that once installed the remote and the IR blaster are reconized perfectly by media center. I hope this helps since I have read alot of instances where the remotes that come with alot of tv tuners are useless. Good Luck.
