MCE Remote control & MCE Keyboard

Sorry forgot to add that I went from win7 x64 to the x86 believing it was a x64 issue but no still the same issue in x86

I have the same problem I Use the W7 RC 7100 french version

My volume and back buttons on both have stopped working after several hours of using

Did you found a solution or it is a bug of this version ?

I do not have any problem with vista SP1

x86 MCE remote working perfectly here. I just plugged it in after installing 7100 and it worked.

I have initialy install seven with this Iso file :fr_windows_7_ultimate_rc_x86_dvd_349019

do you think there is a difference with this iso file :
7100.0.090421-1700_x86fre_client_fr-fr_retail_ultimate-grc1culfrer_fr_dvd.iso

Maby it may solve the problem ?

Hi everyone. I'm Mike.

I have a Speed MCR-1049 IR Remote control and IR Receiver that I bought as a set. They worked fine in Vista, but have lost the functionality of the skip and replay buttons (my favourite ones for skipping thru ads).

I borrowed a friend's Microsoft one (Remote and IR Receiver) and they work fine.

So I am thinking I might need a driver or a new remote. I can't seem to find where to get a driver for this Speed remote.

Anyone else have one of these remotes?

got the remote and keyboard set, seems to work ok, Although i now have a wireless keyboard as my tower now sits out of site and the ir receiver is ugly

Running 7100 x86 here and no problems with the MCE remote so far. The remote also worked in build 7000 and 7068 without problems.

OK, so those of you who's remotes are no longer fully functioning, are your remotes AND IR receivers the real McCoy, geniune Microsoft badged??
