    Hi there .... An outside Aerial would work best ... If you are going to get a TV tuner

    By aerial I mean just a regular TV aerial. With an ordinary TV, the aerial picks up the TV transmission and is connected to the TV where the signal is processed to give a picture. With a USB tuner, the aerial is plugged into the USB device, and the signal from the aerial is processed by the USB tuner to give the video for the computer to display.

    From reading wiki it seems India is in the process of digital switchover (analog replaced by digital transmission) so make sure you buy the correct type of tuner.
