Media Center Windows 7 setup question jazz
Hi, I apologize for being stupid in the first place but I have a number of questions for this media center jazz.
I'm gonna get a house at some point next year and wanted to really deck it out. Big TV in living room, one in each bedroom, and a small TV in the kitchen.
Was looking at stuff and came across Windows Media Center which I'd never even heard of before, even though I'm pretty sure the installation my laptop came with had that.
Trying to figure out how these scenarios work
I want to put together a nice PC capable of playing modern PC games on said large screen in Living room.
Stream music and tv and movies to the various rooms, I guess it'd total out at 4, maybe 5.
I want to put together a 2TB media server. I want to be able to manage my Ipod from it, currently I use Winamp to avoid Itunes restrictions.
Should I use the media server as the media center hub?
Can Windows 7 Media Center independently service 4-5 TVs at once?
Would another PC be able to access the media server with like winamp library while it's doing Media Center stuff?
With extender devices, whats the most recommended and what are the restrictions they'd have?
