    My Pictures not showing proper folder structure

    I have only one folder set under the library management for pictures.

    E:\Users\Me\Pictures

    But when I actually go to the pictures library in WMC (using folder view), I don't see all the folders in that directory. Instead I see one folder titled "My Pictures".

    When I click the "My Pictures" folder it then takes me where I want to be, showing all the folders of pictures in the above mentioned directory. The problem is that i'm anal retentive and I do not want to have to click into the "My Pictures" folder each time to get to all the folders I want. They should come up by default. They used to come up like this but then I reformatted.

    Any idea what is causing this behavior?

    Reformatted = reinstalled windows?
    You have your pictures in folders but don't want to see folders when clicking on My Pictures? Is this My Pictures in the WMC menu? Or after you are in "My Pictures" in WMC, you see another "my pictures" folder? I'm not sure I understand the problem. However I may have noticed the same issue with videos, when it see there are folders, it puts EVERYTHING into folders, even the ones in the root directory of the pictures library.

    All my folders of pictures are sorted by date under the E:\Users\Me\Pictures folder like this.

    E:\Users\Me\Pictures\2012-01-23
    E:\Users\Me\Pictures\2012-01-25
    E:\Users\Me\Pictures\2012-01-29

    etc.

    When I open windows media center and then I click "Picture Library" under "Pictures & Videos", I see only one folder. It's called "My Pictures". Once I click into this folder, I see all my date folders like I want to. The problem is that they used to show right away without me having to click into the "my pictures" folder.

    Yes I reinstalled windows and simply dragged all the dated picture folders from one drive over to the other.

    What is E-drive ?
    A partition of the C-drive or is it located on an Exterior hdd ?
    You might have better luck Adding the location as a New library.
