Mouse not working properly in Windows Media Center
I've had this custom-built computer for over a year and mainly use it to watch and record TV with WMC. It is also used as a streaming device, gaming computer, for internet surfing, and is hooked up to the main TV.
It and Windows 7 has worked flawlessly until yesterday. Now when I open WMC the program only allows me to click on an option once then it will freeze on that function. Example.....click the forward button and then no matter where I click on the screen it will only forward and the forward button will stay highlighted. To stop it I have to hit ESC on the keyboard in order to be able to select another function.
I've tried to restore the computer back to last week even though haven't added any new programs. I also uninstalled WMC and then reinstalled it...neither worked. I also connected a another mouse and had the same issue.
The mouse functions normally in all other programs. Thanks in advance for any help.
