| | You need a tuner for each channel you want to record/watch. I have 4 tuners personally, but some people have 8, or more. So, yes it's possible, and I'd say most people that use media center exclusively have more than one tuner. |

If you have one TV-card and a monitor, then your statement is correct. If you have one TV-card hooked to your TV, you can record a different channel than you are watching on TV. Greetings. |
