Windows Media player fine---Windows Media Center Aborts

When starting Windows Media Center it comes up fine. If I select Picture Library I get an error message "windows media has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

A second problem: If I select from WMC the music library I get the following error message
"An audio error has occurred" and returns to the main screen for music.

The strange thing is I can run Windows Media Player and access pictures and playlists for music with no problem.

I have scanned for integrity errors with the scan now command and nothing is found. I looked in the Event viewer and what follows is the error event:

(If anyone has a solution I would be most grateful)

Is this the first time you're trying to use Media Center to view your pictures and listen to your music?

If yes, Have you setup the picture and music libraries within Media Center settings?

If no, Has it worked in the past?

I used a Microsoft utility to clean up the MWC libraries and mystically all is resolved. In answer to your question they worked for a long while and just stopped working recently. Thanks for responding but I was able to fix it.
