Windows Media Player freezing

Windows Media Player keeps freezing everytime I want to watch a DVD, it will play fine for about 15-20 minutes and then all of a sudden it freezes and then I have to force it to close and sometimes it won't, is there an easy fix for this

How about we troubleshoot the issue instead of suggesting something else?

@techtitan100

Can you please try the following?

1.) Click type the following in the search. "Troubleshooting". Click Troubleshooting in the results. Now click programs in the window that appears. Under media player run the library troubleshooter. After that completes, run the settings troubleshooter.

After both those finish, Restart the PC. Now try to open windows media player.

Did that solve the issue?
