Media Center Randomly Pauses Every Few Minutes
Whenever I watch any sort of video in Windows Media Center or Windows Media Player, every few minutes it will pause (including audio) then fast forward (with audio running at a normal rate) and finally the video will go in slow motion until the audio catches up and resumes playing at a normal rate. This happens at an almost constant rate throughout the entire video.
I've done some research and the most common solution was to update my graphics driver.
I just downloaded the latest NVIDIA drivers for my "7950 GX2" running on "Windows 7 RC x64" earlier today but the problem persists.
Also, earlier today I formatted my hard drive and installed a fresh version of "Windows 7 RC x64 build 7100" to try to get a clean slate so I can figure out exactly whats causing this problem.
The next thing I tried was to download the "Shark007 x64" codec pack to see if that would make a difference but no such luck.
Oddly enough, all these videos play flawlessly in "Media Player Classic x64". So I don't believe its a codec error.
Any sort of help would be much appreciated because its clearly beyond my abilities.
