I'm hoping someone here can help me out. When streaming xvid files from my home server to the windows media center on the xbox 360 the playback stutters terribly. When streaming these same files to my media center on my home computer, they look fine. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what I should try correcting?
Also, if I try and play them directly out of the server folder on the xbox, instead of going through the media center, they look fine except it hiccups about every 10 mins or so. I already know this is a known issue with the way I have the movies encoded. I'm encoding them using xvid/divx codec and using ac3 5.1 sound.
