media center slow to react

    media center slow to react


    Hi all,
    For last 2 months media center has gone very slow, start up, viewing tv guide, starting to watch a tv channel, changing channel and stopping all result in about 30 secs of hard drive activity before it does anything.
    Any tips on what i should check first ?

media center, slow
in Media Center

installed x64 win7 on my desktop specs: e8500@4.1 ghz 4gb 1066 ram 280gtx 750 hd space tried running media center and found it very slow at responding, anything i can do are other people experiencing this?????
