Windows 7: media centre won't play

Hi I have just installe Windows 7 upgrade from vista.
When i try to play live tv or dvd i get this message,
"files needed to display are not installed or not working correctly restart wmc or restart pc".
Done this ,no joy.

When I try to play a blu ray through WinDVDBD for Vaio nothing happens.
I have tried to play dvd through wmp11 but I get this message,
"Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because it is not possible to turn on analog copy protection on the output display. Try installing an updated driver for your video card".

I have unistalled the grapics drive and it reinstalled on start up and I have tried to update from Nvidia but the update wont load!

I have no idea what is the problem,I cant watch dvd bluray or live tv which I could with Vista before upgrade.
Any help would be gratefully received.
