Laptop won't shut down after watching DVD
Hi, hope someone can help me understand what's going on here.
After watching a DVD in windows Media Player (version 12.0.7601.18150), my Dell Studio 17 laptop (running Windows 7 Home premium 64 bit) hung on the "shutting down" screen and eventually had to be shut down manually (oddly I didn't get an error message about not shutting windows down properly the next time I switched on).
The laptop hardly ever hangs during shut down so I assume it was connected to the DVD, but have no idea why it would prevent shut down from working properly. :s
