I see 100 of people got this problem .
I intstall window 7 last week
now i am getting the same message,
I did everything what chris says and it didn,t work for me.
why is is working for some , and other it not.
I know it is a setting issue. I tryed every setting i can think of .
We need some one from support to tell how to fix this issue. I tryed all the basic setting and still the same issue. enable , disable and still the same. I wish someone would post how to get the sofware restriction off , of windows media center so we can get it to work. I been at this for weeks, and all over the internet people are having the same problem and what people are saying will fix it , is not fixing it. thanks for all replays. | My System Specs

group policie you say. It easy for a senor member on this site to say oh well it in group policie and leave us with that. We been their but don,t know what to do their. Your a seven guru here i see, that why we came here to ask one of the seven guru for help, not just to blow us off like that. I been at this for 1 week now with no one giving 100 of people help on this issue. I wish one of the mod would give us some step to fix this problem. Thank you. | My System Specs

I understand your frustration with this but in no way did I blow you off. I am very knowledgeable about Windows but since I lack exposure to corporate environment, group policy based problems are definitely not my specialty. There are gurus here that make me look like I never touched a pc in my life.
Honestly, I already gave you the best info I could on it. I would imagine most other people in my place wouldn't have even posted. I thought I was being cool because you had no responses and basically helped you bump.
Just because someone is a mod or labeled guru, does not automatically mean we know the solutions to all problems.
If I knew how to help better I would. But again, in all honesty, this is your problem. Not mine. Not the mods.
So what I'm saying, you and I are on equal levels with this. I know nothing more than you.
That being said, I really do wish a solution for you soon somehow. And I wish I could have helped better. Good luck. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number self built OS 7600.20510 x86 CPU P4 550 3.4 GHz HT running at 3.5 GHz Motherboard MSI PM8M3-V (MS-7211 v1.x) Micro-ATX mainboard Memory OCZ 2 GB(2x1GB) DDR400mHz running @ 414 mHz Graphics Card HIS Radeon HD 3850 IceQ 3 Turbo HDMI Dual DL-DVI AGP Sound Card MOTU Traveler firewire studio interface 192 kHz 24 bit Monitor(s) Displays 22" widescreen Acer X223W LCD, 17" Compaq P75 CRT Screen Resolution 1680x1050 and 1280x1024 Keyboard Logitch Classical Keyboard 200 Mouse Logitech Mediaplay cordless PSU 350W generic Case Cybertronpc, it glows blue Cooling stock cpu fan, Ice-Q 3 gpu and system, many case fans Hard Drives SATA I x2 WD, 400 GB and 120 GB, SATA 2 WD Caviar Black 1 TB Internet Speed 1792/448 kbits/sec Other Info SATA II PCI fake RAID adapter, 1 GB Readyboost, original ATI Remote Wonder (even works with WMC perfectly), Logitech Rumblepad 2 game controller x2 |

You should also check the same setting under User Configuration. Most network administrator prefer to use Local Machine but either could be causing the problem. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number My HTPC OS 6x W2K8 R2 (x64), 6x W7 7600 (x64), 2x Gentoo (x64), 1x Ubuntu 9.04 (x64), 1x pfSense (FreeBSD) CPU Core2 Duo E8400 3.0Ghz Motherboard ASUS P5E-VM Memory Corsair DDR-800 4GB RAM Graphics Card EVGA NVidia GeForce GT240 Screen Resolution 1080p PSU Corsair HX520w Case Antec Fusion Max Cooling Passive Thermalright HR-1 CPU Heatsink w/ Nexus Fan Hard Drives OCZ Vertex 60GB (C:\D: System\Apps)
