Start Videos in media player maximized

Ok guys, Ill cut to the chase, media player 12 is driving me NUTS. Im trying to make it start maximized whenever I start a new video but it never does. Either the picture goes full screen and blurs or is way too small. Ive tried ticking/unticking the options in MP video but this it always resorts back! This is just driving me crazy-there should just be an option OR it should remember . Ive looked at the other threads and cant seem to work any of the solutions. So far, this is 1 of the 4ish things (small things) that are making me sooo mad as ive had XP for so long now

You're not the only one driven nuts by this bug. It annoyed me so much I actually wrote a simple utility which makes sure WMP12 always starts maximized. See this link for more info: Windows Media Player 12 maximize fix (Windows 7)

Thanks! This helped a bunch, though im sure MS could still add this kind of functionality as a simple tick box option instead of having a 3rd party installer do it.
On a side note my KIS 2010 reported it as a P2P worm though im sure it wasnt - typical computers, you fix one problem you get another.
