Is it okay to Disable the Media Player?


Is it okay to turn-off the features of media features?
I need to disable media player because i have seen employees playing movies while at work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 7 Ultimate x64

There shouldn't be any problem turning it off. I personally turn it off as I don't use MS media player and never have any issues

I have always turned off WMP for many years as I also don't use it.
Never had an issue.
