Windows Media Player Control Panel Fade

It seems that somehow the control panel in windows media player (with the play button and seek bar) no longer disappear to allow the video I'm watching to increase in size. I've looked all over and have found zero options for setting it back.

Any ideas?

I may not be following your question, but have you tried 'full screen'? It will disappear if you don't use the mouse.
