i didn't send anything special other than the usual report windows 7 sends when experiencing a difficulty. i understand that they get bombarded with emails and other messages; i woun't expect my one message about my peticular problem to get a lot of attention. had i saw several complaints on the web and in forums; i would have been more 'vocal'.
and i neglected to state that one of the first suspicions i had was my codecs not right and un-installed the shark's WCP 4 Windows 7. when i had a simular problem in vista, the DRM delete helped but, not this time.
thanks for your inquiries and suggestions.
