How does 7 Media Center organize/choose music??

Can somebody tell me how to organize the albums in Media Center?

I had assumed that under the Music Label (in Media Center) I would see all the music I had specified in my new nifty Music Library. However, it seems that Media Center is pulling all music from C: and podcasts from Itunes (some of which is not music). Media Center is also displaying several copies of the album art (with 2 or 3 of the album's songs under each).

So, I have deleted all folders from my Music Library (it is now empty), expecting that Media Center's Music Label would be empty as well. Nope, still shows all the audio I have on my commuter, all duplicated and disorganized.

How can I tell Media Center what music to show and consolidate albums and artwork etc.?

Al
(and I thought organizing music in Itunes was a pain...)
