Media center does not remember window position Hello again!
Day three of 7 Ultimate x64 and, though still getting used to some minor differences from Vista x64, everything is running smoothly!
One "quirk" I seem to have run into though, is media center does not seem to want to remember it's last position like media center in Vista did. I didn't see anything in the settings for this. Is there a way to make it remember it's "home" position?
Thanks for reading!

by "home" position I'm just referring to the position I last left it on the desktop, for me, I like it in the top left. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavillion Elite HPE-590t OS Win7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel Core i7 Extreme 990X @ 3.47GHz Motherboard PEGATRON CORPORATION 2A86 Memory 4GB DDR Graphics Card NVidia GeForce GTX460 Monitor(s) Displays Samsung SyncMaster 2443ewx Screen Resolution 1920x1200 Hard Drives 160 GB SSD @ 2 TB 7200 Internal

First, I am not experiencing this, when I close WMC, it opens where it was last....the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that you have installed an application that has modified a reg key that is used to recall the position by forcing it off, for example, so that app will run full screen or in a prefered size always...

Yes, media player classic and vlc both open in the same position I last left them. I've installed very little, only the most basics, since Doing the switch to 7 a few days ago. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavillion Elite HPE-590t OS Win7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel Core i7 Extreme 990X @ 3.47GHz Motherboard PEGATRON CORPORATION 2A86 Memory 4GB DDR Graphics Card NVidia GeForce GTX460 Monitor(s) Displays Samsung SyncMaster 2443ewx Screen Resolution 1920x1200 Hard Drives 160 GB SSD @ 2 TB 7200 Internal

I suspect then that either one, or both, or both combined, of those apps have taken control of certain reg keys and it is affecting the operation of WMC. | My System Specs | | |

I will try uninstalling them and see what, if anything, changes. Thanks for the tip.
