Guest Account = No DVD movies

It seems that Guest Account cannot play DVDs or start the Media Center.

Why would that beeee?

I never enable the Guest Account, so I can't give you any specifics, but a guest account by nature is limited in what functions that it can perform. These limitations are controlled by the administrator, so he would need to make any changes necessary.

Yes that is correct. The guest account is very limited in what it can do. The prior poster may be correct in his analysis that the Administrator can determine the extent of the activites that a quest account can perform. If he is, and you do not know how to activate the features or he is not, and you want someone to be able to play DVD's or maybe print, etc. My advice would be to open a standard account, without a password. In that way the user would have full control over his account, without being able to make any changes that affect the entire system.

Hope this helps a bit. In any event, a very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
