TV tuner "Low Bit Rate Error" in Windows Media Center

I was trying to watch live TV and that error message popped up. I have never had a problem in the past with it. All drivers installed as far as I know of. Worked a week ago.

And what new software, what new hardware have you installed in the meantime?

What anti-virus software, what firewall software are you using?

    Please
    Download Microsoft Security Essentials,
    Remove Avast,
Install and Run Microsoft Security Essentials.

    Use the Windows 7 Firewall.

Windows Media Center & Low Bit Rate Error

Did an upgrade from XP Media Center to Win 7, keep getting this error. Saw on another forum that Microsoft has fixed this error with this update: KB981130. I just downloaded it, haven't tested to see if it fixes it or not, thought I would get it posted on here first.

Didn't make any difference, still get the same Low Bit Rate error, usually at least once or twice a day. When I get a chance am going to have Charter come out and test the signal strength at where it connects to the tuner card.

    Same problem

I'm getting the same problem. Everything worked fine, but all of a sudden I've got this problem. Nothing on my system has changed.
