Mysterious Media Center
I love Windows 7, except for the Media Center. I stumps me because of lacking user friendliness. There are a lot of symbols that aren't explained what they are. Whenever I get into Media Center, it's always working in the background, doing something and not telling me what. I see a lot of green circles.
My big project is to get a TV tuner card going. It keeps telling me there is no data available. Well, the card works fine in XP with the program that came with it. So the cable is live. Now I suspect that an analog line would not transmit data. How do I get Media Center to show me something.
In the Help and Support it says, click on Media Center, Tasks and Settings. Well my system does give me a submenu or an option for settings. It always goes straight into the big blue screen of Media Center. How can I re-setup the TV tuner?
After several tries Media Center gave me several options, lie pictures, Movies, Live TV, but when I click on Live TV, nothing is happening. It just hangs. And that's the story with Media Center. It usually hangs and I have a hard time getting out of it.
Please help! Thank you.
