    Problems with Live TV

The channel will show up initially, then the audio will go in and out for a few seconds until it totally cuts out and I get the message: "Video Error - Files needed to display video are not installed or are not working correctly. Restart Windows Media Center or restart the computer"

My tuner card is an Asus My Cinema PHC3-150, I'm running Windows 7 (64 bit) Ultimate. My set-up is simple, I run a HDMI cable from to my PC to my Receiver and another HDMI cable from the receiver to the TV.

I have the lastest driver installed from the Asus website and have everything up to date according to Windows Update.

Tried googling the problem and couldn't find a solution and Asus support wasn't much help. I'm at a dead end here. Thanks

Does your PC have an HD Audio bus?

I don't really know what that is.
I have 3 devices listed in "Sound". SAMSUNG AVR (my receiver I guess) and Realtek Digital Output and Realtek HDMI Output.

And I'm pretty sure it's some problem with the audio.

I Was working on this for hours last night and got no where. I think it has something to do with audio, when I go and try to play live tv and it crashes the audio doesn't work on my computer at all after.
I tried different HDMI cables, different inputs and outputs. No difference.

Well the way I "fixed" this problem was to use Digital Optical instead of HDMI for sound to my receiver. Guess I have to use that set-up but I really wish I could have found a way to work via HDMI.
