After 6 years of duty I had to retire (with honors) my old Pinnacle PCTV studio aka RAVE because there ain't no Windows 7 x64 or x32 drivers available for it.

My options are too limited here in Brazil to buy a decent TV turner. there is no hauppages or avermedias available to buy here. in fact thre is no ANY tv turner windows 7 certified selling here in Brazil. recently I've found a turner from KWORLD model PVR-TV 7134 SE (www.kworld.com.tw) for 40US$ - very cheap for our standards. and that turner works like a charm on Windows 7. It comes with its own turner software and remote control and works just perfect inside Windows Media Center. also it has SAP / Stereo and close captions.

you cannot go wrong with KWORLD model PVR-TV 7134 SE

    two thumbs up for it!

    thats it!

Looks like a really neat package there! something I might consider for our home network. I haven't added it to the list though as strictly speaking it's not a TV Tuner Card, but thank you for letting us know that it does work with W7 :)

Using a K-World ATSC/QAM/Analog PCI 115 S08 hybrid card, x86/x64, almost works perfectly except for the inability to view Clear QAM stations. I haven't bothered with their TotalView Media software on W7, but it worked passably in Vista, just not the greatest software ever so I didn't install it in 7.

What a shame the Microsoft approved hardware list features analog/DVB cards in the same category, and that their links are mainly inaccurate and do not point directly to the manufacturers product page for the same hardware that is featured in the list...
Thanks for the feedback, can you tell me what site you are searching for hardware? The compatibility center links directly to the manufactures Windows 7 Compatibility Center home.

I've just updated the list with individual product page links, and separated them into connection types to make it easier for anyone who may be looking at this list as some sort of buyers guide.
Thanks to all of you who've submitted posts so far
    Keep them coming please! :)

Just expanding on my previous post, I was able to pick up a few Clear QAM channels through the bundled software TotalMedia (by Arcsoft), but only 7 of 20 or so, plus another 120 or so encrytped channels (which obviously can't be used). So it appears to be a WMC issue as opposed to a W7 issue.
