Is this an iso entirely of your old system? if so, you could extract it, and see if the tv files are in there. What program did you use make the iso? Usually the program that created the iso, should also give the option to browse the iso file. Power ISO is a great program for handling iso files. I am not sure there is any real way to make them smaller, not even sure if saving them to a compressed drive will work or is a good idea. Hopefully someone can shed better light on that.
Yes it is an ISO of the "old" system. I used MacriumReflect. I'll try loading MacriumReflect and see what options are available. Would you reccomend Power ISO over MacriumReflect? OH and yes - I'm in the Doghouse...but that happens so often it's no biggie.

The windows connection icon in the task tray shows an 802.11n connection.
But the ASUS "WLAN Control Center" utility shows 802.11ac.
Are they both trying to control the connection?
ASUS is a nightmare for driver installation.

i have 2 computers, a desktop with a tv tuner where i record my shows and a laptop. Both win 7 home prem 64 bits.
i would like the laptop's gadget to display the names and thumb pictures of the tvshows on my laptop, just like it does on the desktop.
But the laptop's gadget...
I though that using the Recorded TV section would be PERFECT for managing the movie series that i ripped from my dvd archives, but WMP AND WMC refuse to see them, even though I added their folders into the Recorded tv libraries.
