    Media Centre wont load windows 7


    C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET \ Framework \ v2.0.50727 \ mscorwks.dll could not load

    Hello i keep getting this error when opening media centre
    Also for an imprtant music programme which i really need to run

    can anyone help please?

    That sounds like a .NET framework problem.

    Try installing the latest Service Pack (1 for 3.5) from Download details: .NET Framework 3.5 Service pack 1.

    If that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall the .NET framework from Download details: .NET Framework 3.5.

    Thanks for your help, in the end i did an upgrade install on win 7 (not clean) and all is working fine fine :O) thanks !!

in Media Center

My media player isn't starting up and it was suggested that I turn off and then on my media features box in windows features. When I did this it started up again but it has refused to work again. Interestingly the media features box is blue which means that one or some sub features are turned off....

Is there a good reason why MS don't equip either the media centre or the media player with the ability to play MP4's. I don't see why they can't play them,and surely it would be in MS's best interest if they could play them.
