Internet TV

I do not get very good quality internet TV . It doesn't matter what material is viewed, it is granular, pixelated, and just not even up to par to standard definition quality. I have watched dvd movies and they work with excellant video quality. Then what is the problem with "Internet TV" ? Just a side note, I have watched on my laptop with Vista, and the video quality is fine, no comparison to my new Windows 7, 64 Bit I built with a Phenom II X4 AMD processor with 4 gigs of Ram. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the same or similar problem and what the fix is?

which sources are you getting your video from, i recommend www.hulu.com/ and Miro | Video Player | Free video and audio podcast player and torrent client. i know some others around here use other services as well but the issue is likely due to your provider or possibly a slow internet connection as some sites will compress the video more so that you get a steady stream, Netflix: Rent as many movies as you want for only $8.99 a month! Free Trial does this.
