How to stop WMC updating

Everytime i turn my PC on i got a little icon is Notifcation about WMC then it said the next one is tomorrow, then the next day.

Is this normal?

if not how do i stop it?

Yes, it is normal. I advise you keep WMC up to date. You can hide the icon if you want.

I'm pretty sure Media Center has it's own update settings, through the Task Scheduler.
