    Media Center audio issues

    Guys,

I hope you can help, I have tried searching here and the web but cannot come up with a working solution.
I am running Win 7 x86 with media browser.
I am trying to watch TV programs via media browser but I have to turn the TV to full to be able to listen at a good level.
It is not the program, as if I play it via WMP it is fine it also works ok in MPC-HC.

I did get around this by configuring media browser to use an external player (MPC) but now when I launch the media it opens ok but then mediacenter comes back to the front and the program pauses.

Any help appreciated as its driving me nuts.

    Thanks

    John

I will try this tonight and come back if problems persist.

I thought I would come back and post.
I made the change to the audio properties last night and can confirm the audio is now much louder, this however is for everything, but I can live with most of that.

Right click on the sound icon in the lower right corner (the tray) and click on Open Volume Mixer. Here you can adjust the sound level by application (while it's open) including system sounds.

You can also adjust system sounds in Control Panel>Sounds.

You can also adjust channels and other advanced sound features.
