Ok didn't know there were other standards than DVB-T. It should still be very simpel to implement since other smaller companies do this perfectly.

An observation....and almost 2 years late...I have a few different Win 7 64 bit computers within our network in the USA with internal digital TV tuners and using WMC for OTA reception. The USA configured tuners do have the option for checking signal strength in WMC. Having relocated to the UK within the past few months and purchase a USB UK TV digital tuner for OTA reception and incorporated into a USA laptop which was reset to UK region for integration into WMC ...I am now missing the signal strength option which “was” available on this USA region laptop...hence that's how I ended up here, looking for answers. So there must be a difference between different WMC’s, World regions or maybe Silverlight.
