    Copying cd/dvd

I googled but didnt find a proper response for this question. I know you can burn cd/dvd with windows 7 using windows explorer, but can you copy a cd or dvd without additional software?Thank you

Yes ... all you need to do is open the cd you wish to copy in explorer, select all of the files that you want to copy, then right click and select send to and choose your burner...

If ur talking about making a CD or DVD image (.iso, .img, .bin etc) the short answer is NO. Windows doesn't support that feature. It does however support native image burning, see here
