Windows 7 Media Centre Recording Defauts

I have a HTPC with 2 x twin Haupauage tuners running windows 7 . In Media Centre under Recording Defaults i have set show to start 5 mins before and end 15 mins after. I have now just discovered that if you record 2 consecutive shows (eg Channel A 7.30 8.00 and 8.00 to 8.30) the first show starts 5 min early but ends at 8.00. the second one does the 5 min + 15 mins at end. Anybody else experiencing this and does anybody have a solution on how to fix so that all the shows i record have the +5 at the start and +15 at the end

The answer is to use a hard padding of greater than 10 minutes (for some reason the 5 minute hard padding does not work.) Do not use the "if possible" options.
