No DVD playback Windows 7 Premuim

Hi all, first post...yeah I searched but got over it...this question is no doubt already answered, but....

Since I've installed Windows 7 Premium, I have not been able to watch DVD's with Media Player. I always get the codecs or other not installed to play error (not word perfect).

I downloaded a heap of codecs but no luck. Searched a lot for this and cannot find an answer?? Is it something easy I'm missing?

I play dvd's on other progs to solve the problem, but would like an answer to this, as it is giving me the shits!

    Regards

Hmmmm, try instaliing an MPEG2 Decoder, if not try CCCP at CCCP - Combined Community Codec Pack

If that does not work then i am sure some of the amazing staff here can sort your problem.
