Windows Media Player 12 is included in Windows. You don't need to install it. Also, are you on Ultimate 32-bit or 64-bit?

Hi Shane and welcome to Seven Forums.. The N versions of Windows does not contain WMP, and as far as I know, it can not be installed due to a EC law suit against MS.. You will need to install a third party media player, there are many alternatives available to choose from...Winamp is a good one. You can read more about windows N -=> here

How come when i go to the microsoft site it says "The Media Feature Pack installs Windows Media Player 12 and related technologies on computers running the N or KN edition of Windows 7. Available for 32 and 64-bit computers.

Im confused.

Sorry for not catching that. Not trying to be mean or anything, it's just sometimes I miss things when people don't use correct grammar. Try this file http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...968211-x86.msu
