Is any1 else experiencing extreme slowdown?

I've not got the best specs but Media Centre runs fine, it's just Media Browser that slows e.g. When navigating TV Series the screen transition is just too slow.

    Any ideas would be great

No I have had the opposite, mine seems too fast and it always moves past the the movie I want to select.

Yeah, that happens to me too but once selected it seems to slow down and i have to (very slowly) back out to the start menu.

I'll try to post pics of what i mean :)

Yeah I noticed that as well (the slow transition). However if I use the mouse to try and select, it rolls right past it; I have to use my arrows to get a more controlled selection. I am getting my parts together for a faster machine, hopefully I won't have the same issue.
BTW, what is windowed mode? I probably know, but call it a different name, lol.

Click the centre icon and it will run in Windowed mode (ignore the battery icon in this pic LOL).

Orbital Shark try going to your Program Data/Media Browser/Cache
and delete everything inside and let MB rebuild and see how it does.

Mine did that once and that fixed it.

Thanks for that but it didn't do the trick. When i'm viewing (not playing) a movie and it's showing the backdrop & details it just gets slower & slower. As soon as i exit full screen mode it wakes up again & is 100%
